Mental Blox is an inherently simple but well-designed and highly engaging learning game for kids. The game features two sets of ten blocks in a variety of shapes and decorative patterns. It also includes 20 cards with 40 different reasoning puzzles in increasing difficulty. There are two ways to play. In the first, called Look and Build, players set up the blocks to match the image on the card, and then, solve the problem. Problems include answering questions, adding a block, rearranging the blocks, and more. The second mode of play, Listen and Build, is played exactly the same way, but the blocks are set up by one player giving verbal instructions without the other player seeing the card.
