What is a capo? Info here

A ‘capo’ holds down the strings at any fret on your guitar. This allows you to still play the chords you know, but they will now sound higher. This is great as it allows us to many more songs than we could without the capo.

  • Andy, that's for all the great lessons and videos. Regarding the capo, I am seeing lots and lots of different material out there, rosewood, aluminum, composite, etc. Would you recommend one over the other? Thanks in advance man.

  • Hi, thanks for the video. As to my understanding using capo is to increase the key, how about to lower the key but play higher key? Say original key was D & changed to C key but I still want to play D or Key E Play F? Is it still possible to use capo? 🙂
